On November 1st 2024, the birthday of Sonja Ferlov Mancoba, Estate Ferlov Mancoba awarded its yearly grant to the three artists: Anu Ramdas, Regitze Engelsborg Karlsen, and Ahmed Umar.
The three artists were awarded the grant for their distinctive and innovative approaches to art. Each artist brings their own unique methods to their creative practice, exploring different themes and materialities in ways that are deeply personal to them. Their work stands out not only for its originality but also for how they engage with their chosen mediums, creating art that resonates with their individual visions and perspectives. Each of the artists received 100.000 DKK.

The grant was inaugurated in 2020. Among the previous recipients of the award are: Elisabeth Toubro, Eva Steen Christensen, Lea Guldditte Hestelund, Hanne-Vibeke Holst, Sif Itona Westerberg, Christine Overvad Hansen.
